The Barefoot Pedals Foundation was formed in 2011 to honor the legacy of Jeffrey David Nola. Jeff died in Baton Rouge, LA, on May 29, 2011, at the age of 35 after fighting a courageous battle with a rare form of cancer called Burkitt’s Lymphoma. The Foundation receives and distributes donations exclusively for charitable purposes that exemplify the values and characteristics Jeff lived his life promoting.
We have decided that it is really, really hot during a Baton Rouge Summer. Not ideal conditions for a 5k. As a result we have passed on a 5K in 2019. Have no fear though NolaPalooza 8 will still be in full effect at The Varisty Theatre the night of August 3, 2019. Please follow our facebook page to learn more about the concert.
